Vic Mignogna is an American voice actor, musician, and producer known for his extensive work in anime and video games. Born on August 27, 1962, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Mignogna developed a passion for acting and music early in life. He attended Liberty University, where he studied television and film production, later working in video production before transitioning into voice acting.
Mignogna’s breakthrough role came in the early 2000s when he was cast as Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. His performance in the role earned him critical acclaim and multiple awards, solidifying his place as a leading figure in anime voice acting. Over the years, he has voiced many iconic characters, including Tamaki Suoh in Ouran High School Host Club, Broly in the Dragon Ball series, Fai D. Flourite in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, and Qrow Branwen in RWBY.
Beyond voice acting, Mignogna has also been involved in music, releasing albums and performing at anime conventions worldwide. He has also directed and produced various projects, including Star Trek Continues, a fan-made continuation of the original Star Trek series, in which he played Captain Kirk.
